Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

While you're on the waitlist, we collect your email address and, where you provide it, basic contact or referral information. Once Copia launches, account creation will require identity verification (KYC) in line with Nigerian financial regulations, and we'll collect the information needed to fund, trade, and withdraw, including bank account details and transaction history.

2. How we use it

Your email is used to notify you about early access, product updates, and launch timing. We do not sell your data to third parties. Trading and account data, once collected, is used to operate your account, detect fraud, and meet our regulatory obligations.

3. Data storage & security

Waitlist data is stored with Supabase, an infrastructure provider with encryption at rest and in transit. Access is restricted to the Copia team members who need it to run the waitlist and onboarding process.

4. Third parties

Copia is built on Hyperliquid (trade execution) and Privy (non-custodial wallet infrastructure). Interacting with these services may involve sharing limited technical data, such as wallet addresses, required for the product to function. Neither party receives your email or personal contact details from us.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to remove your email from the waitlist at any time by contacting us. Once Copia is live, account holders will have full rights to access, export, and request deletion of their data, subject to regulatory record-keeping requirements.

6. Changes to this policy

This policy will evolve as Copia moves from waitlist to full launch. We'll notify waitlist members by email of any material changes before the product goes live.
